Back by popular demand,  ‘A Very Darwin Christmas Pageant’ is returning on Saturday 16 November 2024.

Last year, more than 900 Territorians and 50 floats paraded in Darwin City as part of the Pageant, all dressed head to toe in their best Christmas themed outfits – sprinkled with some Territorian humour and flair of course!

Look for the Darwin City Brass Band performing from the Tour Tub.

Don’t miss the community floats journeying through the heart of Darwin City. Starting at the Esplanade, the floats will make their way through the heart of the CBD to finish at the Smith Street Mall.

Follow the festivities through the Smith Street Mall to witness the roving entertainment, activities for kids, food trucks for light snacks, before joining our Lord Mayor for the official launch of Christmas in Darwin with the Lighting of the Christmas Tree at 7:00pm.

Watch as the Lord Mayor officially switches on the Darwin Christmas tree lights and enjoy listening to the Darwin City Brass Band.
