Band Xmas Look for the Darwin City Brass Band participating in the 2023 Darwin Christmas Pageant on Saturday 18 November.

City of Darwin Lord Mayor Kon Vatskalis said celebrating Christmas brings the community together.

“From school kids to sports clubs and multicultural groups, the pageant is an opportunity for people to appreciate each other and in a spirit of kindness bring some fun and joy to our city.

“I can’t wait to see what the community creates to show us what ‘A very Darwin Christmas’ means for them. This is a great start to the Darwin festive season and I encourage community groups across Darwin to get involved, celebrate Christmas and start designing a float,” Mr Vatskalis said.

Tailored plans are put together based on your assessed ability, which then leads to our 'Learning and Development Group'. This group is ideal for those just 'starting out', those of that have mastered the basics of playing a brass instrument or are perhaps returning to the music scene after whatever interval.
